Ishika Desai
Founder and President of the Bettendorf Chapter
Ishika Desai is a sophomore at Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. Ishika’s love for STEM started in second grade with her school’s science program and has been strengthened with her active involvement in robotics. She is part of her school’s student government and is excited to join more school organizations in the fall. She joined JuSTEMagine to spread STEM to those around her community and make STEM organizations and programs more accessible and known. Her goal is to make STEM and SEL more common and widespread around her community and hopes that it will inspire others in Iowa to do the same. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and CADing.
Nishita Gudipati
Vice President of the Bettendorf Chapter
Nishita is a sophomore at Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. She is passionate about spreading and encouraging STEM throughout the community especially in communities that don’t have access to STEM. Nishita is part of one of the local FTC robotics team. She loves science and likes learning to play the piano.
