Manya Pappu
Co-Founder and Co-President of the Los Angeles Chapter
Manya is currently a sophomore attending William Howard Taft Charter High School in Los Angeles, California, and is interested in pursuing a STEM career, specifically in the fields of Computer Science and Finance. Manya joined JuSTEMagine to spread and encourage STEM throughout the community, especially in communities that do not have equal access, and is excited to host STEM events to share her passion with LA! Manya likes to be an active member of her school community with the speech and debate team, Model UN team, and FBLA. Outside of school and academics, she enjoys dancing, swimming and shopping.
Ananya Balaraman
Co-Founder and Co-President of the Los Angeles Chapter
Ananya is currently a sophomore at North Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, CA. In the future, she hopes to pursue a STEM major while promoting women in STEM in her community. Through JuSTEMagine, Ananya hopes to foster an interest in STEM in the young students of LA by providing access to entertaining events that spark passion and imagination. Outside of JuSTEMagine, Ananya is an active member in her school’s Science Olympiad, DECA, and cross country/track & field teams. In her free time, she also enjoys reading and biking.
