AI, artificial intelligence, has recently gained popularity and is continuing to expand its fields of work and abilities. Many people use AI on a daily basis, and it is a great and efficient help to humans. I believe that AI could also solve current world problems. One such problem is deficiencies in healthcare

. Today, healthcare is very expensive and a lot of people are unable to afford it. These people end up suffering just because they don’t have the money, ability, or transportation to afford proper healthcare. How could this devastating world problem be solved? The answer is Artificial Intelligence. The AI that exists today is so advanced that it has the capability to deliver and provide healthcare to patients who are unable to access in-person healthcare. AI is also considered to be much more precise when analyzing medical results, as compared to health professionals. Additionally, AI can identify injuries, such as broken bones, which are sometimes hidden and difficult for doctors to identify. A few more ways AI is changing healthcare is that AI can analyze patients' vitals and determine their current medical needs, AI has the ability to detect diseases by identifying early symptoms and signs, and AI “chatbots” help decide medical decisions and administrative decisions. In summary, AI has accomplished a lot in medicine, will continue to advance and change how healthcare looks in the future, and helps people receive healthcare and live healthy lives.
